Important information about the switch to LavaShell porcelain shells
Dear customers,
Due to supply bottlenecks for natural LavaShell shells, we are temporarily switching completely to our LavaShell porcelain shells. The natural shell beds from which the shells originate have been severely damaged by various natural events such as storms, heat waves and harmful algal blooms. This damage will take a very long time to regenerate and grow back.
Our porcelain shells look very similar to natural shells, but offer many advantages: they are vegan, consist of a single piece with no glued joints and have a smooth, groove-free surface – making them particularly hygienic and durable.
With the porcelain version, we are supporting the protection of shell beds and focusing on a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative. Many of our customers confirm that they feel no difference in terms of well-being – only the good feeling of making a conscious and sustainable choice with the porcelain shell.
